SLID Game Rules

🎯 SLID

Duel Game
Precision & Strategy

🥇 OBJECTIVE

Place your SLID as close as possible to the MASTER without ever touching it!
The first player to score +15 points wins the game.

🎒 EQUIPMENT

  • 1 MASTER
  • 10 SLID

▶️ SETUP

Each player chooses a color and takes 5 SLIDs.

Starting throw :

  • The players decide who will be Player 1 by any method they choose

🔄 ROUND FLOW

Player 1 throws the MASTER, then throws their first SLID, then Player 2 throws their first SLID.

The player farthest from the MASTER must play again.

They continue playing until :

  • Becoming the closest to the MASTER

or

  • Having no SLID left

oR

  • Committing a foul

When a player regains the advantage, play passes to the opponent, who must then try to do better.

  • The round ends when all SLID have been thrown

or

  • Immediately in case of a foul (MASTER touched by a SLID)

Several SLID can overlap.

An upside-down SLID is valid.

The player who wins the round starts the next round.

Rounds continue until one player wins the game.

🧮 SCORING

At the end of a round (without a foul):

  • +1 point for the SLID closest to the MASTER
  • +1 additional point for each SLID better placed than the opponent’s best SLID
  • Maximum: +5 points per round
  • The first player to reach +15 points wins the game
  • Tie (=): If Player 1’s best SLID and Player 2’s best SLID are at the same distance from the MASTER, the player who has just tied continues playing in an attempt to take the lead. If they have no SLIDs left in hand or fail to improve their position, the player who first took the lead scores +1 point.

🚨 FOULS (CORE RULE)

A foul occurs when a SLID touches the MASTER.
Any foul immediately ends the round.

The player at fault:

  • Scores 0 points
  • Loses the round
  • The opponent scores +1 point
  • The opponent starts the next round

❌ DIRECT FOUL

A player throws a SLID
👉 Their SLID directly touches the MASTER
Even the slightest contact = immediate foul

❌ INDIRECT FOUL

A throw causes a chain reaction.

Examples:
Your SLID hits another SLID → which then hits the MASTER
Several SLID collide → and one of them ends up touching the MASTER

👉 The color of the SLID that touches the MASTER first loses the round

Regardless of the number of bounces or contacts.

A player can turn the situation around, make their opponent lose a round they were winning and score +1 point.

  • Obstacles allowed
  • Bounces, slides and collisions are part of the game
